State Secretary Dammermann and Deputy Dr. Ing. Michiel Scheffer visited the INTERREG project ROCKET

On Friday, January 26, 2018, Mr. Christoph Dammermann (State Secretary of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Innovation, Digitization and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia) and Dr. Ing. Michiel Scheffer (chairman of the monitoring committee and deputy of the Province of Gelderland) visits Coatema Coating Machinery in Dormagen. Mr. Dammermann and Dr. Ing. Scheffer were informed about the INTERREG project “ROCKET” (Regional Collaboration on Key Enabling Technologies), which aims to promote cooperation between industry and science in the German-Dutch border area to strengthen research, technological development and innovation. As part of this discussion, Dammermann and Scheffer discussed the project, the associated innovations and the cross-border exchange. The visit to Dormagen took place on the occasion of the recurring quarterly meeting within the framework of the INTERREG program. The meeting also included an exchange of views on the progress of the program and the European Cohesion Policy with a view to the European Week in 2018, in addition to the practical company visit.
