INTERREG project Ler(n)ende Euregio

Finalist Borderland Award 2020

With an elaborate empowerment exchange programme, the Ler(n)end Euregio is one of the three finalists of the Borderland Award 2020!

Ler(n)end Euregio is proud of all students and teachers of German Berufskollegs and Dutch MBOs: AVENTUS, BERUFSKOLLEG VIERSEN, ROC RIJN IJSSEL, BERUFSKOLLEG DATTELN, BERUFSKOLLEG RHEYDT-MÜLFORT, MERCATOR BERUFSKOLLEG MOERS en KONING WILLEM I COLLEGE, who participate annually and dare to cross borders in our empowerment programme.

Empowerment for students

Empowerment for students who have not graduated from school yet and often fall through the cracks. In the Empowerment Programme of the Learning Euregio these young people can also have an educational, intercultural experience in which German and Dutch trainees meet, learn from each other, challenge themselves and increase their chances on the labour market. Here you can see an impression of this year’s Empowerment Entrepreneur Day, one of the components of the Empowerment Programme.

Borderland Conference 2020

The Borderland Prize will be awarded online on the 2th of December at the Borderland Conference 2020. The aim of the annual Borderland Conference is to stimulate cooperation in the border region between the Netherlands and Germany through working groups on various topics, including education. You can find an impression of the Borderland Conference 2019 here (in German).
