SUN - sustainable and natural sidestreams

SUN - sustainable and natural sidestreams

The term food waste is a subject everyone is talking about. But changing production processes, consumption patterns and adjusting legal frameworks is a major obstacle. This applies to all parties involved in the food value chain. SUN focuses on the use of food-grade by-products in food processing and starts before it becomes waste. The aim of the project is to use side streams as good as possible and to preserve the majority as food. In this case extraction methods and drying are of great importance. It is a project of efficient use of raw materials and the development of sustainable products from side streams.
