T.P.R.T.

T.P.R.T. (Tyre Pressure Regulation for Two-wheeled vehicles, Reifendruckregulierung für Zweiräder)

The tyre pressure of wheels influences the security, comfort and the use of energy of vehicles substantially. Each surface and weather conditions require a specific tyre pressure. Currently tyre pressure is adjusted sporadically by means of a bicycle pump or air compressor.

We develop a revolutionary technical product for two-wheeled vehicles, such as bicycles and motor bikes: T.P.R.T. (Tyre Pressure Regulation for Two-wheeled vehicles). T.P.R.T. consists of a special miniatur compressor pump and advanced electronics which are integrated in the wheels of a vehicle. This offers the cyclist and the riders of scooters, mopeds and motor bikes the opportunity to adjust the tyre pressure to every desired pressure level, while riding as well as while standing still. The product will replace the bicycle pump and/or air compressor in this regard.

T.P.R.T. shows the actual tyre pressure constantly anbd offers the opportunity to store air in a special reservoir in the rim of the wheel. in this way air is always available and a flat tyre can be brought to the desired pressure level within a few seconds. T.P.R.T> will be very lightweighted (< 150 grams) and extremely compact. A patent for the system has been applied for (application number 2018061). The Dutch patent has been granted in the meanwhile and the application for the world wide patent (PCT-patent) has been filed.

The potential market for our new solution is big. Starting with market introduction in the high end sport cycles and motor bikes our system will find its way to a.o. electrical bicycles, mopeds, and scooters. Leading producers of bicycles and motor bikes already have shown their interest (see f.i. attached letter).

The balanced collaboration of the consortium partners will be continued after the engineering phase and result in production and employment opportunities in relation to electronics, mechanical parts and high end bicycle wheels.
