Health-i-care: innovations for safer healthcare
Alle health-i-care-projectactiviteiten staan in het teken van het uiterst actuele thematische speerpunt preventie en bestrijding van ziekenhuisinfecties en antibioticaresistentie en de daarmee gepaard gaande risico’s voor patiënten en de volksgezondheid.
Health-i-care concentreert zich op de ontwikkeling van innovatieve producten en technologieën, die de bevolking tegen infecties beschermen en antibioticaresistentie het hoofd bieden. Daarbij gaat het om innovatieve en andersoortige hulpmiddelen binnen de werkvelden diagnostiek, therapie, reiniging, medische technologie en voorlichtingsgerichte en persuasieve communicatietechniek. Het project is opgezet vanuit wensen en concrete behoeften van gebruikers en afnemende partijen.
Health-i-care zet zich door middel van landsgrens- en sectoroverstijgende netwerkvorming in voor versterking van het innovatievermogen in de grensregio en, daarmee verbonden, voor de ontwikkeling van één sterke gezondheidseconomische regio. MKB’s zijn als motor voor deze innovaties onontbeerlijk. Slechts in samenwerking met hen kunnen de voor health-i-care gedefinieerde 30 maatschappelijk relevante innovatieve producten en technologieën, die bijdragen aan het behoud van de voor onze gezondheid zo belangrijke hygiënische standaards, worden ontwikkeld.
